There is now page NOAA Annual Statistics (CSV) from where you can copy-paste NOAA Annual Stats in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format. So it is now easy for example to get the data to Excel. In Excel, you can parse the pasted CSV data to columns using Data-Text to Columns command and defining comma as separator....

NSS Webcam Offline
NSS Webcam will be offline for some time due to construction work going on at NSS site.
Spring Arrives Soon!
Today, solar radiation reached to over 200 W/m², though sky was not even completely clear! It has to do with the sun rising higher and higher on the sky each day on our latitudes. Tempest has now been fully powered for many days, which is great. It is unlikely it will drain its batteries until...
Tempest Resumed with Full Measurements
Today WeatherFlow Tempest got enough solar power to charge its battery enough to resume normal functionality. Immediate indicator of this is the availability of gusts, which is not shown when Tempest operates in power save mode and sampling frequency is too low. Let’s hope we get sunny days for now on to keep Tempest charged!
Update Issues
Update issues again… temperature and humidity measurement seems to stuck from time to time. The reason is Home Assistant that should update these. Station Master switched these to be taken from WeatherFlow Tempest, but there is the risk that it will go offline due to power failure–there has not been much sunlight lately available.
Tempest Woke Up!
Today, WeatherFlow Tempest got enough solar radiation and it woke up! Battery voltage has so far increased from 2.33 V to 2.37 V. This means we are getting Wind, Solar Radiation and UV Index. Having Wind value, Feels Like can be calculated, too. Measuring Gusts would require even better battery status–with this status Wind is...
Getting Cold
Image below shows well current temperature compared to January 2020. Getting cold!
Station Setup and Data Flow
Station Master created an image clarifying the current Weather Station Nagu hardware and software setup. WeatherFlow Tempest should provide all weather data, but since it went offline due to lack of solar power, some data is collected using RuuviTag (temperature, relative humidity pressure) and old Davis equipment (rain). Home Assistant reading RuuviTag originally served our...
Rain Gauge Back Online
Rain measurement uses old Davis rain gauge, so it was possible to publish online, too. Wind, Solar Radiation, UV and Feels Like (dependent on wind measurement) will not be available until Tempest is back online.
Temp, Humidity and Barometer Back Online
Station Master was able to restore Temperature, Humidity and Barometer updates. These measurements are based on Ruuvi beacon.
