New Tempest hardware is attached on top of a pole rising some 2 metres above Station Master’s house’s rooftop. This setup causes now issues with rain measurement when weather is windy. Obviously wind causes vibrations to pole and sensor unit, and the haptic rain sensor interprets this as rain. Until issue is resolved, rain gauge is set to offline mode.
