Flightradar24 receiver (code name F-EFTU7) has been online at WS Nagu a bit over a week now. Radar sees typically 40-60 aircraft at any given moment and detection radius is about 250 nautical miles (463 km). Receiver has followed about 700 planes daily.
Detection range to all directions reveals that receiver antenna location at WS Nagu is one of the best in Finland. Only four other Finnish radars (of 321 radars) report slightly longer detection ranges.
Station Master has considered adding some current Flightradar24 statistics to WS pages, but that waits for possibility to spend some time writing the code to extract stats from receiver.
